There is a growing need among Public Safety professionals for a method for tracking People at Risk. ProPhoenix recently partnered with a group of our customers and Mental Health Professionals to design a robust “At Risk Persons” module within Mobile and RMS. Whether it be persons in crisis, those with chemical dependency, homeless individuals, people with intellectual disabilities, or your community veterans in need, our new “At Risk Persons” features will help your agency derive better outcomes by offering a tracking method, pre-arrival information, and a method for post-event tracking.
Officers can start the initial report and referrals in Mobile or RMS, with automated notifications to your Crisis Intervention Teams or Mental Health Clinicians. Individuals can be flagged as “At Risk” for future contacts and consideration for alternate disposition rather than arrests and detainers. Activating a “Live Stream” from CAD or Mobile and sharing the feed with your CIT members accelerates the co-responder response even when your CIT members are not readily accessible. Providing live video feeds and background data for those in crisis enriches the global approach to changing lives.
Crisis Intervention Team members or Health and Human Service clinicians from your co-responder partnerships can track post-contact follow-up. The new feature is a game changer for Public Safety providers and their ability to bring creative resolution to people in crisis, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary approach through informed decision-making and early intervention.
ProPhoenix believes this new addition is so critical to Public Safety’s success that we launched it in New Jersey in March of 2023 to collaborate between ProPhoenix customers and New Jersey’s Statewide ARRIVE initiative for servicing people in crisis. The new feature will be available to all customers in the spring of 2023.
Please contact your account managers to learn more about the ProPhoenix “At Risk Persons” features and how it can assist your agency with responding to people in crisis. Watch for additional announcements in CRM for an episode in Phoenix Pro Series highlighting the new feature.
